Yesterday, while I was at work, it seems Xiao Li and Bandit ate up Wii's raw chicken. ALL of it (which was a lot!), and by evening, Bandit wasn't feeling too well. He had diarrhoea. I put him on ID immediately. Anyway, I thought I'd better not take any chances, so off we went to the vet's.
Where are we??
Big sister was at the front all the time, protecting the two little ones.
The vet detected a mild ear infection in Xiao Li, and applied diluted hibiscrub to clean it. Bandit was declared ok, and is to be on ID for a few more days.
According to the vet, Teddybear's coat indicates he had been malnourished, but he looks plumped up now. He should be ok in no time. But with kittens, one can never be sure. So I would still have to monitor him closely.
The vet said that even two weeks of being ill can cause significant compromise on their growth. But then again, their bodies have a remarkable way of compensating.
The bottom line is.....the universe decides, and we just do our very best!
